For  the  past  seven  years,  Rivercliff  Lutheran  School  has  built  a  community  of  learning based  on  its  firm  foundation in  the  Lutheran  tradition  of  scholarship,  freedom  and faith  and  keeping  with  the  high  standards  of  the  National  Lutheran School Accreditation. 

The  congregation  of  Rivercliff  Lutheran  Church  established  Rivercliff  Lutheran  School  in 2001  in  Sandy  Springs, Georgia.    Opening  its  doors  to  the  congregation  and  the communi ty,  Rivercliff  Lutheran  School  began  offering  a  purposeful  education  to  its students  ‐  an  education  equipping  children  to  grow  academically  and  spiritually  with  Christ at the center. 

* In 2003, Rivercliff Lutheran School received its National Lutheran School Accreditation.

* In 2007, Kris Hoffman was named Principal of Rivercliff Lutheran School. 

* Currently offering grades K‐3,  with the addition of the 4th grade class in the 2009‐2010 school year. 

* We  move  Forward  in  Faith  with  the  construction  of  our  “North  Campus”  located  on Woodstock  Road  in  Roswell, Georgia.  Not only offering more space, our brand new, state of the art facility includes reading and  writing  labs,  a  technology  center,  and  a  basketball  court/gymnasium.  The  new  facility  includes  Open  Arms  Early  Learning  Center,  which  offers childcare  services  from  6  weeks  to  Pre‐K  as  well  as  before  and  after school care to children up to 10 years of age. 

With  low  teacher‐to‐student  ratios,  our  highly  qualified  educat ors  personalize  lessons  to  benefit  each  child.    Our curriculum  includes  classes  in  writing  and  composition,  math  and science,  Spanish,  art  and  music,  physical education,  and  religion.    Our  classrooms  are linked  to  the  Internet  and  are  equipped  with  multiple  student‐use computers.    We  have  an  established  Accelerated  Reader  (AR)  program  with  student  testing  and  tracking  as  well as a  growing  library  of  AR  books.    Our  music  program  features  regular  student programs  with  a  Spring  Musical and  Christmas program.  Our students are spiritually nourished through daily Bible study and weekly chapel. 

The  Rivercliff  Lutheran  School  Parent/Teacher  League  is  an  acti ve  organization  dedicated  to  the  success  of  the school.    The  PTL  works  with  the  teaching  staff  and  school administration  making  sure  the  educational  needs  of  the  students  are  met.    To augment  the  school  budget,  improve  teacher  and  student  resources  and  to  promote  the school  in  our  community,  the  PTL  holds  a  number  of  fundraisers  each  year  including charity  auctions  and  golf  tournaments. 

As  a  result  of  the  dedication  and  unity  of  our  students,  facult y,  administration,  and  parents  to  providing the best possible educational experience, our students scored in the TOP 1% IN THE NATION on standardized tests.
