Sunday Mornings 9:35am

High School Youth: Genesis, taught by Shelley Wood. This Bible study is for confirmed YUTS Sundays at 9:35 and meets in Pastor’s study.  The purpose of this study is to discuss spiritual topics within our senior youth group based around the Old Testament book of Genesis It’s an opportunity to examine our biblical history and how it is still relevant to our lives today.

The 678 Club (Junior High Youth): is being taught “Bible 101” by Keith Dunn and Judy Lagerbloom.

Adult Bible Study: "Great People of the Old Testament" taught by the Elders of Rivercliff. We will delve into the Old Testament for answers to modern day living as we study God's Chosen People and how He directed the course of their history. What a comfort to know, "(God) is the same yesterday and today and forever" based on Hebrews 13:8.

Other Bible Studies

Women Seeking Wisdom meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:15pm.  Members host the group on a rotating basis.  For more information, contact Barb Boyd. Will resume in September. 

Men’s Bible Breakfast meets on the second Saturday of the month from 8:30am - 10:00am.  Join with your brothers in faith for good food, fellowship and bible study.  In the fellowship hall.

Friday Morning Women’s Bible Study:  Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore is an in-depth look at 15 Psalms (120-135).  Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Friday mornings 9:45-11:35. Please contact the church office if you need childcare. 

Seniors’ Bible Study led by Pastor Strickert: The Seniors' Bible Class for all 55 and up will again meet on the Second and Fourth Thursdays of the month from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  The current study is on the parables. If you have never come to the Seniors' class, why not give it a try and enjoy the Christian fellowship and friendship we have together?  Feel free to call Pastor Strickert if you have any questions (770-396-6816).

Parenting Your Teens class 6:50–8:00pm On Wednesdays, 6:50pm, a new class on parenting your teen will be offered, led by Susan Muly.  This study is by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott and the topics include identity, turmoil, rebellion and legacy.  We will be on the same schedule as the confirmation group!  Classes held in the Pastors office.  Attend all or attend some, but plan to attend.  Workbooks are supplied.
